Anastasia Nikolaevna, the youngest daughter of Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna, was known for her lively temperament, sharp wit, and irrepressible energy. Quick to laugh and prone to mischief, she brought a sense of movement and unpredictability into the otherwise structured world of the imperial household. Anastasia was affectionately known as shvibzik (Russian: швибзик) within the family.
