Anastasia Nikolaevna, the youngest daughter of Nicholas II and Alexandra Feodorovna, was known for her lively temperament, sharp wit, and irrepressible energy. Quick to laugh and prone to mischief, she brought a sense of movement and unpredictability into the otherwise structured world of the imperial household. Beneath her playfulness lay a perceptive and emotionally sensitive nature, often hidden behind humour.
Anastasia was affectionately known within the family as shvibzik (Russian: швибзик).
